The Organisation

XBRL Europe is governed by its General Assembly which votes in particular for

  • The election of the Chairperson, the Vice-Chairperson and other members of the Executive Committee.
  • Amendments to the bylaws, other than which falls solely within the competence of the Executive Committee.
  • Approval of the annual financial report and annual summary and of the budget.
  • Granting of discharge to the Executive Committee.

 

XBRL Europe is also governed by its Executive Committee under the supervision of the General Assembly. The Executive Committee as the managing body of the Association, is responsible for the management and administration of the Association .

The Executive Committee consists of the Chairperson, the Vice-Chairperson and four other Executive Committee members. Five seats are reserved for individuals being representatives of Members from the Jurisdictions members, one seat being reserved for XBRL International. One seat is reserved for individuals being representatives of Direct Members.

 

XBRL Europe is on a day to day basis managed by its Secretary General under the supervision of the Executive Committee.
