{"id":142,"date":"2012-09-23T17:10:44","date_gmt":"2012-09-23T15:10:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/web.xbrleurope.org\/?p=142"},"modified":"2025-10-24T17:32:41","modified_gmt":"2025-10-24T15:32:41","slug":"workinggroups","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.xbrleurope.org\/?page_id=142","title":{"rendered":"Working Groups"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>XBRL Europe has set the following various dedicated Working Groups to meet its objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a title=\"COREP\/FINREP\/SOLVENCY II Working Group\" href=\"http:\/\/web.xbrleurope.org\/?page_id=289\">Bank and Insurance Working Group<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; Contributes to the EBAs initiative to harmonize the COREP and FINREP frameworks, works with EIOPA on Solvency II taxonomy &#8211; Co-Chairs: Vincent Le Moal-Joubel (XBRL France), Thomas Verdin (XBRL UK, XBRL Europe).<\/li>\n<li><strong>XBRL Europe Standard Roadmap Working Group<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0 Created in 2023 to link the XBRL standard improvements and roadmap to European Supervisory Reporting requirements. Chair: Thomas Klement (XBRL Germany)<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Standard Business Reporting Working Group\" href=\"https:\/\/www.xbrleurope.org\/?page_id=391\"><b>Standard Business Reporting Working Group<\/b><\/a> &#8211; Identifies and provides guidance on best practices regarding the implementation of SBR &#8211; Co-Chairs: Frans Hietbrink (XBRL Netherlands) &amp; Elina Koskentalo (XBRL Finland).<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.xbrleurope.org\/?page_id=2883\"><strong>ESG Working Group<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Educates about the different ESG reporting inititatives &#8211; Co-Chairs, Ren\u00e9 van der Meij (XBRL Netherlands) &amp; Patricia Myles (DFIN).<\/li>\n<li><strong>OAM &amp; Business Register Working Group <\/strong>\u2013 Share information between Officially Appointed Mechanisms in the framework of ESEF and liaise with national Business Registers for financial statements in local GAAP. Chair: Krzysztof Jesse (XBRL Germany), Co-Chair: Marco Vianello (InfoCamere Italy).<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/web.xbrleurope.org\/?page_id=192\"><strong>Business Registers Networking Group<\/strong><\/a> (xEBR WG) &#8211; Aims to increase coordination and interoperability for XBRL efforts and taxonomies for European business registers and company information providers &#8211; Development of the xEBR taxonomy &#8211; Currently NOT active. Last Chair: Thomas Verdin (XBRL UK, XBRL Europe).<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/web.xbrleurope.org\/?page_id=357\"><strong>IFRS, Securities and Markets Working Group<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Promotes XBRL for European securities and markets, in particular for harmonising the IFRS Taxonomy Extensions considering national law requirements &#8211; Currently not active.
