\tDear friends of XBRL Europe and others,<\/p>\n

\tOur 14th<\/sup> XBRL Europe day and 20th<\/sup> Eurofiling workshop – called the XBRL Week in Brussels, has ended last Thursday. This event was a real success and it was made possible thanks to the preparation committee, to XBRL Belgium and to the support of the National Bank of Belgium. The venue was impressive, the National Bank of Belgium staff so efficient, and the gala dinner a must!<\/p>\n \t <\/p>\n \tWe registered this time 180 attendees mainly from Europe. We run several parallel sessions and received very interesting and quite challenging presentations.<\/p>\n \t <\/p>\n \tThe presentations are made available on the website: http:\/\/eurofiling.info\/201411\/<\/a> thanks to Javier Mora from XBRL Spain.<\/p>\n \t <\/p>\n \tI would like here to thank in particular Ignacio Boixo – and I am sure you will join me, who has decided to step down from the Eurofiling coordinator role, for the tremendous work he carried out for the whole XBRL community during all these years. But Ignacio will continue to stay with us, and it is a pleasure, as the XBRL Spain representative in XBRL Europe, while Derek de Brandt has taken the Eurofiling coordinator role from the Eurofiling community.<\/p>\n \t <\/p>\n \tThe next 15th<\/sup> XBRL Europe day and the 21st<\/sup> Eurofiling will take place in Madrid in the first week of June 2015.
