SPEAKERS

Patrick de Cambourg

Patrick de Cambourg is the Chair of the EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Board since November 2022.

Between 2015 and November 2022, he was President of the Autorité des normes comptables (ANC), the French accounting standard-setting Public Authority. As such, he was also a member of the Boards of Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de Résolution (ACPR), CNOCP and a member of the Haut Conseil de Stabilité Financière.

Patrick was a member of the EFRAG Financial Reporting Board and chaired the EFRAG Project Task Force on preparatory work for the elaboration of possible EU non-financial reporting standards from September 2020 until April 2022.

Patrick, a graduate from Sciences Po Paris, holds degrees in public and business law and has a Bachelor of Arts. As chartered accountant and auditor, he spent his entire career within the Mazars Group, successively as junior, manager, partner and senior partner (1983-2014). Since late 2014, he is Honorary President of the Mazars Group.

Herm Fisher

Original author of Arelle open source XBRL project; support for integration, deployment and databases for XBRL technology. Chairperson of XBRL OIM, Formula and Rendering Working Groups, vice chair Base Specification Working Group, member of Standards Board 2009-2014, and developer of specifications, test cases, and tutorials on XBRL Abstract Model, Formula, Dimensions, Rendering and Versioning. Currently working on OIM Taxonomy and PDF/A for inline XBRL.  Subcontractor on SEC EDGAR team.

Panagiotis Nikolaou

ICT Project Management Expert at Single Resolution Board

An experienced and certified (PM²-Agile®, PMI-PBA®, PRINCE2®) professional in Project Management and Business/Systems Analysis, he has been involved in the full project life cycle of large and low-scale IT projects in the EU sector, including several European Institutions and Intergovernmental Organizations.

He possesses strong expertise in Requirements Engineering techniques and methods, Stakeholder Engagement, Project Management, definition of functional and non-functional specifications using UML, Use Case Modeling, Business Process Modeling (BPMN), Data Modeling, System Behavior Analysis, and User Experience Modeling.

Furthermore, he has the ability to communicate cross-functionally, to work effectively either as a member of a team or autonomously, to demonstrate accountability, strong business acumen, and to create a sense of confidence between IT and the Business end-users.

John Turner 

“John Turner leads XBRL International. He works with regulators, governments and the private sector to help the shift from a paper-based to a data-centric reporting paradigm. He has been involved in the XBRL standard, in a number of different capacities, since 1999. Prior to taking on his current role, at the end of 2013, he served as the CEO an XBRL software firm, before that, led the global XBRL activities of a big four firm and prior to that, worked as a prudential regulator, running off-site surveillance and leading the revamp of data collection systems at APRA in Australia. He is a passionate advocate for the pragmatic use of standards to enhance reporting and with the staff of XBRL International works with the consortium’s members and leading regulators around the world to this end. “
